Websphere MQ Mainframe Systems Administrator

We have opening in top MNC

Technical requirements:

 Technical knowledge of Websphere MQ with a minimum of 3 years experience in

building, configuring & tuning MQ on a z/OS platform

 Experience with Websphere MQ on distributed platforms

 Knowledge of SMP/e with proven experience of mainframe software upgrades

 Exposure to RACF, ACF2 or Top Secret security products

 Perform end to end subsystem and application diagnostics

 JCL /SDSF skills

 Familiarity with monitoring products, eg. Omegamon, Mainview, IT Cam

Desirable:

 MQ application development

 Knowledge of at least one of the following subsystems a strong advantage :

CICS/DB2/IMS/ Websphere Application Server/zOS

 UNIX scripting

 SSL skills

 Publish/subscribe administration

 Understanding of audit/compliance concepts

Role Requirements:

 Strong team player that can also work on their own initiative

 Provide out of hours on-call support (24*7) on the team rota

 Strong interpersonal skills, commitment to and good understanding of customer

service requirements

 Ensure best practices for MQ environment are in place and adhered to.

 Development & maintenance of operational documentation

 Development & maintenance of compliance documentation for Websphere MQ
