Oracle Order Management Setting Up Defaulting Rules
Is OIT tables will populate while converting sales orders?
If we defined a defaulting rules to populate the price list based on customer SHIP TO etc,
Now, you populate the interface table with order data and run the Order Import program for creating Sales Order.
If we already provided value in Price list column, Order Import will consider it and process the Order.
If we are not provided Price list then Order Import will look at the Defaulting Rules and will derive price list based on the condition and process the order. We can see that when query the order from Front end or query the base table.
