A attempting to import
customers through Customer Interface (RACUST) and receive the following
error:

The system options
form is reviewed for this org_id.
The Trans and Customers tab shows that the customer number is NOT being generated by a sequence (the box is not checked). The column for RA_CUSTOMERS_INTERFACE_ALL.CUSTOMER_NUMBER contains values. |
If the box to
Auto-generate the account number is NOT checked, this error occurs. The
error has nothing to do with the sequence HZ_CUST_ACCOUNTS_S.
Import the records in the table RA_CUSTOMERS_INTERFACE_ALL into a worksheet. Sort on the column ACCOUNT_NUMBER. Locate the duplicate account number used for a second account. Remove the duplicated account numbers. Run customer interface again and it should progress without error |
