Issue: Invalid Buyer While importing Items
Cause
Invalid data; BUYER_ID end-dated in master organization;
Because of this error, the import of items into the child organization fails;
The same error INV_IOI_BUYER_ID would occur when updating organization items for which the default buyer set at organization item level had been inactivated. This is a general validation check that is always performed. (eg even when not attempting to modify the default buyer)
Solution
To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
1. Using Item Open Interface, null the BUYER_ID in master organization
or
2. Using Item Open Interface, update BUYER_ID inmaster organization with valid BUYER_ID
Once the BUYER_ID is valid in the Master Organization, the item can be assigned to the child organization
