How to set XML publisher report default output format to rtf?
Solution:
Set the Profile option 'FND: Default Template Output Type' in R12
It wouldn't be recommended to globally set (as in via the profile option) the output format to RTF anyway.
Globally, it is best to set it to PDF (as it is the MOST used format AND the only format that can be printed from the concurrent process).
It IS best to set those SPECIFIC reports to RTF output via the
Navigation Path
XML Publisher Administrator > Templates area.
A second reason to not want RTF as the global output format is that it generates a larger output file than PDF would (for the same data set).
So, if ALL reports were defaulting to RTF output you might run into run performance issues sooner or later.
