How does digital imaging happen in Oracle iExpenses?

There are couple of options for imaging documents in Oracle. 

·         One is scanning to a file on the user's C drive (or whichever is appropriate) then attaching the file to the expense report at the header level.  
The second option is to have a scanning service like Documentum implemented. You would turn on the profile option for enabling the bar code in iExpenses. The employee could then FAX their documents with the bar code page, and the system will automatically attach the documents at the header level
